Take a little elbow grease...

....add one really drab brown living room...

...to some really boring brown furniture (aside from the princess chair, of course)....

.....mix in a weeks worth of messy living quarters, several scary ladder episodes around the stair case, and two gallons of a pale blue/green paint called, "Aqua Sparkle"....

...and what do you get?

A complete transformation!

It's amazing what color can do!

OOOOooooh! LOVE it! My hubby painted our dining room from a dark burgundy color to two accent walls of a medium sage green and creamy white on the other two walls...it changed everything and our whole outlook! Now my sunflowers look perfectly at home!!

That is so pretty! I really love that color... we just painted out bathroom and I was looking for that shade. After spending weeks with various color chips tacked up to my bathroom wall, I finally chose one. I bought the paint, brought it home and did the first coat... and it's completely wrong! It's more of an ice blue than an aqua and I am so disappointed. I'll get over it though, lol. It's just a bathroom and I am not about to go out and buy a whole nother bunch of paint just cuz the shade is off. Your living room is just so very pretty now. Good job!

Nabila Grace - Color really does affect the mood. With a little imagination, we now feel like we are living in a beach cottage!

Persuaded - I'm so sorry you ended up with the wrong color. We have had that happen to us many times. This time though, we found out that you can purchase a little sample can of paint for under $3. We picked out a handful of swatches, took them home, and narrowed them down to a few colors and bought the samples. Then, we actually painted the samples on the wall. Lighting affects colors greatly, and we found that our original favorites weren't what we wanted at all. Maybe next time you could get one of the sample cans? In case you do want to change your color, this one was called "Aqua Sparkle" from Olympia.
